What we collect

Account data (email, display name, password hash), content you upload and its metadata, listening activity (plays, likes, playlists), approximate country derived from IP, and payment status from Stripe (we never see card numbers).

How we use it

To run the service, show artists their statistics, curate and recommend music, prevent abuse, and process Pro subscriptions. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for sign-in and a random anonymous identifier in local storage to count plays. No third-party advertising cookies.

Processors

Cloud hosting and storage providers, Stripe (payments), and email delivery. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

Your rights

You can export or delete your account data by emailing support@synthsong.com. EEA/UK/California residents have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA which we honor.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
